The worst doctors are here in Los Angeles for sure! I have never been treated so badly in my life!! I say you need to report the behavior, and find a new doctor! Where are all the nice friendly good hearted doctors now a days??

All you can do is "shop" around for a new one. Sometimes you'll get lucky and find one who will take the time to listen to you. And YES, bedside manner are basically gone because of how many patients nurses and doctors are required to have in one shift. There is too much overload creating a very stress filled environment. You can complain to administration, however it is likely to get you no where.

unfortunately this sometimes happens due to inreasonale amount of patients going to the hospitals, clinics, for things that can be handled at home without having to use up the limited resources in the health centers.

Overmelming amount of patients that have to be seen, result in sleep deprivation, which can make anyone cranky. We can not expect these people to be at their best, when comparing them to doctors from a few 10, 20, 40 years back, the responsibility was'nt as much as it is now, woth the population getting bigger and busier than in the past.

Its not only the getting to "large factor", or the "time factor". I think it may have a little bit to do with HOW MANY TIMES THEY HAVE BEEN TAKEN TO COURT. And Dr. are normal people too. They could very well have a "nagging wife", or dead beet "baby daddy", or that "crazy mother-in-law that has moved in". But to find out if they are going to listen to while they have their hands in your pocket, when you call to set an apt. ask how long they spend with each of their patients. In one of ;last yrs Parenting mags, they talk about how to find a good Family Doc.

I am sorry you had a bad experience. Shame on him/her, whoever they were. But, most of the doctors I know are really nice caring people who work their @$$ off for their patients. I hope you find a better physician in the future and they do well by you.
Good luck!

Not all doctors are rude. I have no problem telling a doctor that is rude that he is working for me, I am paying for his services and if he can not treat me with respect I will find some one who will. If he does not change his attitude I change doctors.
