Fast beat and non-cheesy? Try "Mr Brightside" by The Killers! (I'ts about how the singer likes a girl who's going home with another guy.) Green Day's "Disappearing Boy" is also kind of cool if you're into old punk. The benefit of this is that a home video would actually suit the atmosphere. It goes: "When I walk in crowded rooms I feel as if it is my doom I know that I don't belong In that room I see her I see her and she's with him I turn and then I'm gone" (So, these are both suggestions for #2... The other type is harder to find I think!)
