i know it has to be with happiness but HOW to make it happy and how do you trade from crystal to yellow with gbas and pls dont say anything like "you need old moves" i know that.

it's not hard to raise happiness. i had two eevees that were happy enough to evolve into umbreon and espeon at level 6. just walk with them, a LOT. give them vitamins (iron, calcium, etc) get their hair cut. let them hold items. keep them always at full hp. after a few hundred thousand steps (think - hatch 40 eevees) it will be happy enough to evolve. also, leveling makes them a little more happy.
in order to trade from yellow to crystal, you already know the thing about old moves and old pokemon, i'm sure. you just need to use the time machine trader - which is part of natural gameplay, and connect two gameboys with the link cables

to trade from yellow to crystal you have to get the time machine on crystal and then trade normally from yellow.
