Im 37+ weeks and have been 4 cm dialated and fully effaced for almost a week but baby was still way up, I woke up this morning with a ton of pressure and my belly is dropped way low, I already lost my "bloody show" and still bleeding a little. I feel really tired and sick today. How much longer until things just go? baby himself is measuring over 42 weeks.

no contractions though! I have had about 4 all day.

Bless your heart...and Congrats! I would say make sure that you are ready to go! I would say that you could having sex to try and force your labor [as long as your water hasn't broke]...it worked for me, also try nipple simulation...or a nice ankle rub! Hope this helps....Best of Luck!

You are almost there I was dilated to a 4 for a few weeks and I lost my "bloody show" on Christmas and I went into labor on the 30th. "I was sick the same day I went into labor!! Good Luck hope you are ready!Make sure your bags are packed it could be today!! Mine hit me and I gave birth like 31/2 hrs. later

Only your Dr. can answer your question. As to your gestation period, no one can know that for sure. You may not be as far along as you & your Dr. first thought. Keep your chin up, & congratulations.

you surprise me when i was 4cm dilated the hospital wouldn't let me home.i gave birth in 28 minutes .good luck
