TBH it depends on how much cash you want to spend, the gold is cheap as here you will get 18/21 carrat gold for an amazing price, what kills the deal is the quality/size of the diamond(s) that you want to buy, you will get a better deal than the uk/us but if you are going to the souk in Deira then i suggest the 'i live here and am not a tourist' line to get you best price or they will take the michael - if they say the ring is AED10,000 DHS (apx GBP1,600) then offer them half of that and make your way up from there..they are prepared to barter!

It is a hard questions. Especially the size of the diamonds are important. On the other hand I have been to Gold Bazaar in Dubai but the prices weren't any better than my country (Turkiye). The diamonds are a bit more economic. I would recommend you to buy the stone itself from there and get it done in your country. They sell the stones seperately upon request. That's what I have done :)

The Ring Itself Won't Cost You A Lot, Its The Rock (Diamond) that depends upon the 3 C's, Clarity,Cut & Carat !! the Better These 3 C's are the more expensive is the Diamond Ring.

how long is a piece of string - it depends mainly on the size (carat) of the diamond settings. not sure exactly but if its any help but i saw a programme on tv and apparently quality diamonds are usually set in white gold and they use normal gold for slightly lower quality diamonds for some reason. 18 ct gold rings with diamonds are in argos starting from £80

go to the gold souk and there will be lots of choice from cheap to expensive....
