the tip of our "fangs" as you normal people call it contains toxic that we can release that relaxes a person and makes them weak. that way they cant fight back. then as we bite deeper in, we reach the blood vessels and start sucking on it. like giving someone a hickey.
i should know. i've tasted blood before. and it taste................

I think they pierce the skin and then suck like we would through a straw. Then, if the vampire wants to save them for later or something, they have some weird platelet liquid in their fangs to clot the blood.

I always thought it was kind of a pierce to start the blood flowing and then sucking to lap up the blood... like giving a hickey but actually drawing the blood.

Vampires are fictional characters but if they did i would think they would pierce through the skin and lap it up.

They peirce the skin with incisioned teeth and the blood runs through their teeth into their veins and bones. They also drink it as the pull of blood is pulled by their teeth so they drink it as they let it rejuvenate them.
