i have a stupid cousin who borrowed on of my games and returned it all scratched and i was wondering if chapstick will fill in the scratches or not , also if u kno of any other remedies for clearing scratches plz tell me(dont tell me to go bye a game cleaning kit already did they suk!!!)

no it'll just make it all gooey, and then the goo will get all over your lens and ruin your player.

i've seen $25 cd cleaners at best buy. it looks like a discman. you put on little scrubbers in it and then put a solution on your disc, and then put it in and hit "play"

I wouldn't try lip balm (chapstick is a brand name lip balm) because it's not clear enough. I saw some stuff advertised recently that's designed to fix scratches in glasses. That might work. I haven't had any personal success fixing scratched CDs.
