One of my favorite books, plus many of the movies I like as well....However, I also love Looney Tunes, so what if....?

What an interesting question. Well, let's see. Bugs Bunny would have to be the girl. Maybe Elmer Fudd could get over his speech impediment and be the Phantom. Or maybe Daffy Duck, because he'd have no problem hiding in dark corners, and he looks good in a cape. And a whole lot of various cartoons could be the mob chasing the Phantom at the end. Like Sam, firing behind the Phantom's feet. Oddly enough, I can see this.

I don't know about the Phantom of the Opera; I'm working on "Pulp Fiction" as redone by the Looney Tunes: Bugs and Daffy as Vincent and Jules, Porky as Butch, Foghorn Leghorn as Marsellus, the Irish bulldog with the derby and the hound dog from the barnyard as Maynard and Zed, Taz as The Gimp, the really annoying Little Red Riding Hood as Esmeraldo VillaLobos, Wile E. Coyote as Winston Wolf, Yosemite Sam and Granny as Pumpkin and Honey Bunny, Pepe LePew as Captain Coons, Sylvester and Tweety as Lance and Jody, Marvin the Martian as Marvin, the Egghead chicken as Big Brain Brett, etc.
My only problem is that there aren't any female Looney Tunes strong enough to play Mia Wallace; okay, nowadays there's Lola Bunny, but she's not really a classic character, is she? I picture it as a scene-for-scene, shot-for-shot, word-for-word remake of the original film, but one which will run longer due to the Tunes' speech impediments.

Oh, Pepe Le Pew would have to be the phantom. He fits perfectly. When you finally know who he is you run. So Christine would be played probably by that pretty cat. Count Raoul could be Sylvester. And I want Henry the Chicken Hawk to be the police offecer, Lafitte or whatever his name is.

It wouldn't matter who played what as long as DAFFY was the Phantom. It's mine I tell ya, mine, it's all mine, mine, mine...
