Yes it is an activity that allows people to learn to work together and bond. As it is a physical activity it helps fight obesity.

i do b cuz I used to be a cheerleader (we moved so I'm not anymore) I LUVEd it!! it is so fun. You get to meet different people, on your squad and at competitions, who share common interests w/ u. Also, I love to dance and you dance a lot when you cheerleade. I also like it because you get to show school spirit, be caught up in all the action at games, events, etc... theres a lot of things people don't know about cheerleaders. Everyone thinks that we sit around going rah, rah, rah, are stupid, and have no personality. It takes A LOT of work to be a cheerleader. I would like the people who criticize us go to a cheerleading practice and just see how hard 1 practice is. And if that's not hard enough, try going to practice from 8-5 daily for a week right before a competition!!

Cheerleaders are pretty much irrelevant to me, except they did help somewhat when I was on the football team. Also, to the people I know who are cheerleaders, please don't be offended. I do have one issue with cheerleading in general. I don't agree with them doing stunts while wearing their skirts. If cheerleaders want to do stunts, they should wear their athletic pants or sweatpants. I really don't want to see your underwear (unless we have a relationship and we are in a private setting), and most other people don't want to see it either

Not personally but when I was in 6th grade I wanted to be one.
I dont like it bc....
I dont do perky!
And I agree with some of the others,its too showey. Ok so your an expert flipper but why must you wera mini skirts? Even short tight shorts would be more appropriate plus you can see your form better.

Yes i do mainly because i am one and cause it is fun to watch them because somtimes they mess up and it is funny
