No smarts come from you learning. You choose if you wan't to be smart. See if you really tried at something you probly do really good at it. I have a friend she does not ware glasses and she got straight A's in grade 8 this year. People ware glasses because they can't see properly. I need glasses and I'm not one bit smart. If you think they make you smarter and you go ans try and get glasses they will turn you down if you don't need them.

things you wear don't add to or detract from your intelligence, so no, glasses don't make you smart.
If you want to be smarter then exercise your brain... Do puzzles, solve brain teasers, read and do things differently than you normally would. For instance, if you brush your teeth with your right hand, try it with your left or try eating with your other hand.
The brain is like a muscle, the more you use it the stronger or better it will be.

Yes they do! Wearing glasses mean that you read a lot, work on the computer and do all the smart things! BUT your glasses should look trendy otherwise you will look like a dork!

Sorry to disapoint you but the whole glasses thing is very missleading. Study, trial and error as well as the experiences in life itself will make you smarter. The eye glasses thing is either for optical assistance or cosmetic purposes.

I think so. Most of the people think that glasses does not make you smarter because they don't have glasses. Well I don't wear glasses and I think it makes you smart. My whole neighborhood think it makes you smarter. If you don't believe me, pick another person as your best answer. Hope it works and good luck!!!!!!!

they surely dont "make" you smart, infact, if you think about it, glasses would make you seem like less of a person because that means that your eyesight is sub-par. HOWEVER, people who wear glasses are considered to be smarter, probably because it appears as though they care more about their studies than their outward appearance.
