Sagittarius and Cancer compatible?!?

I have a friend that is a sagittarius, we get along great! I've only know him for about 2 months and I'm starting to develop a crush on him. I looked up the astrology love compatibility for cancer and sagittarius but it says we aren't that compatible. It says that Cancer is too quiet for an outgoing Sag. but I talk to him a lot and I make him laugh all the time. And it also says Sag. is wild and loves to have fun but Cancer just wants to stay home, but I love to have fun. Plz help! thanks

I'm a Sag and my husband's a Cancer. We've been together for almost 15 years and married for almost two. We also have three children together. I guess we're proof that it CAN work . . . it's just easy sometimes!

Sagittarius and Cancers have different elements. Sagittarius is a fire sign and Cancer is a water sign. So it might not work out because you guys have differentelements. Plus a sagittarius may seem to wild for a cancer. And a cancer may seem too shy, moody, and unadventurous for a Sag. However, in astrology you don't always look for the sun sign compatibility. The ascendant signs, moon signs, and venus signs also pay a big role on relationship combatibilites. So must have a gemini rising or maybe you guy's moons signs are compatible. Also Its seems as if you are more extroverted than most cancers I know because you like to have fun. So maybe most of your signs in your chart are probably more in leo or gemini and not a lot in cancer. I don't know, but according to your description as long as you guys can get along, for some unusual reason, then that's really the only thing that matters.

my aunt is a cancer and her husband is a sag. they have been married for 20+ years. My other aunt is a sag. and her husband is a cancer and they have been married for over 7 years. Both partnerships have tons of children. From what I've learned, the respective planets do very well together. (Jupiter and moon) That it leads both to a spiritual journey towards completion. I think that if your compatible your compatible. I do agree that astrology does have n impact on a relationship, but bottom line is either you got it or you don't. I think chemistry is more important than astrology. If everything is working out good for you and your friend then just go with the flow. Dont look for reasons for it not to work.
