No. I actually won £50 with a £5 Bond in 1980 and not a cockle since!

I have had £5 worth since 1968. Haven't won nothing. However if you buy the maximum, they return around 10 to 15%.

Many many years in the past I received £250 yet that became the in common words win I had and that i held a run of bonds. I cashed them in years in the past and dealt with myself to a sparkling cloth cabinet. like you I really have by no skill heard of everybody having a large win. funds them in and manage your self.
