my girlfriend and i have had our disputes over the months but this is something that we had never experienced...she gets really angry at any of my jokes and she quickly talks about breaking up ...i tell her everytime that we have to much love to just breake up and she agrees and we cry beacause not even her knows whats wrong...she just told me that she really doesn't know she is at the age of 18 i heard that she can have some issues with her mind..i don't know please :((((((((((

Mood swings? I don't know. It sounds like she's going through something right now. Maybe you should find out if there is.

Sounds like you would do well getting some help in your community. She might find this very intimidating, so if you are up for this, I would recommend talking about the issues as a common denominator between you guys. Make clear that you are worried about her and that you want things to work out. Try to use I-statements, for example "I am very worried about us when you say that you want to break up when I make a joke", take it from there. I-statements usually decrease defensiveness and break down barriers. Then slowly move towards maybe getting some help.

Wow. so much to cover on a web page. You need to do some research on the cycle of abuse. It sounds like you and girlfriend live in it.
You may need some professional help this will only get worse without help.

maybe you should lay off on the jokes alittle if you say that she can have some issues with her mind sometimes. You don't have to be desperate for a relationship, or even for her love. I hope it works out for you guys. Ask her if it is appropiate to kid around.

What am I supposed to do? My boyfriend dumped me out of the blue one time. I had disputes...and since he couldn't handle it anymore, he dumped me. That make you feel any better?
