I know Gibson makes the J-185 guitar which is very expensive. Are there any other guitars like the J-185 that are a less expensive?

At $2100 I can only imagine why you'd be looking at alternatives. Taylor makes a couple of Jumbos that sell for around $1000 less and Guild makes a Jumbo Auditorium at about $800. You can buy a fair sounding acoustic for $500 to $800. If you're going to use that Gibson as your benchmark its going to be tough to match in sound. Have you seen the Gibson J-250 Monarch?
A steal @ $17,349.99. Have a look at musiciansfriend.com - they have a wide assortment of acoustics and might give you some ideas.
