Of Course. There isn't a rule that says you can't. It is not the same as a best friend, where your feelings can probably damage years worth of friendship. If you like the guy, go for it. You have a good chance of a good relationship because you are friends first. Tell him how you feel and stay confident. Good Luck!

do what I do....enjoy the moment, the now, the today. yes you can go out, talk about anything...that's what friends are for....listening and understanding each other. If you like him then hey...you got all the winning opportunities.
in my case, now we are dating but first we allowed each other to friends (we still are), but we get a little spark of you know..passion but nothing further. that took a whole month for us.

Yes if you've spent alot of time with him and at least gotten to know him and its not based on purely looks.

well yea.i mean if you really like him.find out if he likes you to. but you have to take it slow just so he can really get to no you.
