oh wow that sounds great....
sometimes I like looking out at the rain and watching everything dripping with water. I dont like it to rain for days and days though. When its finished raining and I return outside I alwyas think it smells of frogs...

I do, yes. When it rains, the dog get to go outside alone, and get dried off, when coming in. I drink something hot, while the cat and I watch a movie, or something. Or the three of us have a mystery novel. During the day, if it's raining lightly, I walk with the dog, unless one of my feet hurts.

I love the rain, i find it so relaxing, just the steady rhythm of it falling down relaxes my nerves. It also makes cool noises when it hits hard metal objects. I wish it would rain more, then maybe i would be a bit more relaxed.

MaMu, I love the rain and when it hits tin or aluminum the sound relaxes me and can put me to sleep. The rain is so refreshing and then to see a rainbow afterwards, just totally tops it all off.

That sounds lovely. I'm not much on long drag out rain, but I love thunderstorms. The emotion they bring out in me is wild.

Yes, wonderful noise - especially if you under canvas or in a caravan. Amaxing sounds on the tent / caravan roof.
Still prefer to watch REALLY heavy snow coming down though - wonderful stuff.
