I have steadler marsmatic technical pens (.25,.35,.5, & .7mm) and there are no instructions for cleaning them... does anybody know what the best/proper way to clean them is? Thanks!

my teacher says she just lets them soak in water... should i just try that?

Once the ink is dry it won't clean with just water.

You can buy cleaning solution (made by Koh-I-Noor) that works great, or try soaking them in Windex (the real stuff, not off-brand), or straight ammonia - that's what I used for many years. Try not to take them apart as the wire is easily bent or broken, but it is possible to disassemble the nibs for cleaning if they get encrusted.

your best bet would be to go to the palce where you got them from , to ask them on how to clean them properly
