When the Philippines was a possession of the United States, it was called the Jewel of the Pacific. They were under the auspices of our constitution. There were no revolutionary wars, no plundering by the government officials, and peace. After they received their independence it all changed for the worse, and remaines that way to this very day. Sad to say, no one of their Presidents was worth a plugged nickel.

Me, but I grew tired of all of the buerocracy and red tape ... so now I am just an executive assistant to the CEO of a shoe company with headquarters based in L.A. Go figure.
