I dont get her style of clothes and I know that if I buy her anything fashionable she wont wear it. She doesnt wear jewlery. Ack...what do I do?

Get her a Visa or American Express gift card.
It's prepaid (so you won't get a bill or anything), just like a regular gift card, and she can use it anywhere that accepts Visa or AmEx.
Or you could ask what her style IS and try to work within that.
Ask her what else she likes. Does she like video games? Bath stuff? Makeup? Something for a pet? Movies?
If she likes movies make her a movie basket. Get several of the $5.50 movies from Wal-Mart that you think she would like. Buy a few boxes of different flavors of microwave popcorn and a two-liter of whatever soft drink she likes. Stick them all in a basket with some tissue paper. Voila! A movie basket.

Get her a gift card of some sort.
Get her a phone card if she likes to call long distance.
Get her gift certificates for her favorite food place.
give her cash in a great card.

You could get her a gift card like Visa or Master card gift cards, they can be used just about any where and you can get the at most banks.

The next time you go to her house, look around her room and see what kind of stuff is in there. Don't spy, though, because that would be rude. I did that once to one of my friends for Christmas, and she loved it!

here is a thought, whynot spend some time with her. OR make a donation to her favorite charity in her name. OR volunteer to help her with a project. OR volunteer at soup kitchen, homeless shelter or nursinghome.
