I am coming home for Christmas early and my parents do not know about it. So I need a ride home from the airport. They just moved there so I do not know the City.

I live in Olathe and make the trip to and from KCI frequently. If you take the KCI shuttle it will cost you about $55 per person one-way. To rent a car it is about $25 per day, some include mileage, some do not. The cheapest way would be probably to rent a car and/or drive to Olathe, and it takes about 30 minutes via Interstate 435 around through the Kansas side.

Honestly, the cheapest way to get there will probably be to rent a car and drive the 35-45 minute drive (depends on what part of Olathe they live in). To get there, you are probably going to hop on I 435 S and then take I 35 S to get to Olathe. There are some alternative routes to this (such as I 29 to I 35, etc), so try mapquest for the best route to your parents house. There are some airport shuttles in the metro as well. To get information on those, just go to the KCI/MCI website. They have links to all the transportation options available.
Have a safe trip! Enjoy your Holidays!

Best way is to rent a car. When I lived in Overland Park, I would rent a car for a few days for about $75.00. Also, book early via the Internet to get the best rates.

Well, you're going to have to drive there. it's not that far at all! i used to live out there and it's like....30min drive on 35 or 435 i can't remember. you might have to take a cab. they, of course, know their way around.

good luck
