tell them to get a life, because they are so wrapped up with yours, i think they need one...just think of it like your a celebrity, everytime they are spotted with someone, the next day its on the front page that they are "secretly" with that person, just be glad you dont have the poperatzi after you, LOL no for real though just go about your own thing and who cares what they say, live your life, and dont gossip about anyone, beacsue you know first hand how hurtful and annoying it can be.

Just treat him as you always have and ignore the rumors. Who cares what others think and why jepordize a good friendship because others talk. Once you get out of school nobody is going to care about a girl and guy being friends Most likely everybody who is talking now will have atleast one platonic friend of the opposite sex when they are adults. We actually have a term at work for these good friendships with the opposite sex. We call them "Work-wives" and Work-husbands". You'll look back on this years from now and think it's funny.

I had to go threw the same thing. Kids did and said some really mean things. So mean that my best friend who was a guy also was almost not going to be my friend. The more they see it bothers you the more they will do it. Just brush it off and move on. Whatever you do don't let them immature kids brake your friendship up or get you down. When you get to be a lot older and look back at this you will see that there are much worse things that could have happened to you then just being mad fun of. Trust me been there done that.

First I'd write down my feelings about him and compose a letter to him the way you want to tell him you are not a "couple". Then
pick an appropriate time and place to express this to him. If people continue to tease you about this, I'd just smile and say
yeah, he's a good guy and friend....who cares what those
nasty kids are saying....you are you and not a reflection of this
guy.

Ignore it me and my friend went through it to. Ignore it and it may pass. If you let it show that it's getting to you people are going to keep doing it.

Continue to treat him as a friend, as you would like to be treated.

It really doesn't matter what everone else thinks. does your friend know you're not interested? as long as you both know what's going on, that's all that matters. People are going to think whatever they want to, no matter what you say. that's their problem.

hi: you don't have to be with someone you don't like. be bold enough to severe your ties to him if it hurts you that much. unless you're unsure of your attraction to him.
