Be happy that you got the good grade, but if you don't want to give up your summer, I'd just shrug my shoulders, smile real cute, tilt my head, have a smile on my face, and say,"Thank you so much for considering me, but i have to pass."
HAVE A GOOD SUMMER-you'll have to grow up soon enough.

If I were you, I wouldn't take the class. It's nice and all to be recognized, but your character and overall achievement means more to colleges when considering someone for admission. Even if this math class offered college credit, I wouldn't bother. You'll have four years to take all the math classes you want, even the advanced ones. Enjoy your summers, they go by too fast as it is. Be happy you got a good score and let that build your confidence, but remember that you have plenty of time to take more math classes and only a little while longer to enjoy summers to yourself.

Depends on how long the class is during the week. If it's only for a few hours and is over by noon or so, go for it. You still have all afternoon to do things. Besides, most of us would just sleep that time away anyway. At least you would be doing something productive.

I would be happy about the score, but I think that I would have to decline the summer classes! That is a ridiculous schedule! What are you gaining for taking the summer class other than experience? Early graduation? Extra credit?!

Don't take the class. You are already smart and you need to take a break. No breaks mean you will get extremely stressed out you won't be able to think straight. You will also release energy (sugar rushes) at any given moment because you haven't used the energy. Just study when you have nothing to do. And your NOT a nerd, even if you take the class. Smart people get rich, and the ones who call them nerds end up broke.
