I am not Portuguese or English. I watch regularly and with interest the English premiere league. After all that was said, primarily by the british fans, do all those who bashed about C. Ronaldo and even said that Rooney was a better player, still have the same opinion? Come on folks. British or otherwise, MU fans or not, do show your guts and tell the real truth. Do you still think that Rooney is better than CR? Because if you still maintain your opinion, I certainly have to take a course in football/soccer. I am Argentinian, love the great game the way it is played in Argentina, Brasil, Portugal, Spain, Italy, but also appreciate the intensity and heart place on the field by the players in the premiere league, and must say that this young man, CR is today the most complete and exciting player in the world. What is he missing? Shot? Dribling? Speeeeeeed? Passing? Heading? What is he missing? Frankly I can't find it. I am a big fan of my countryman L. Messi, but CR? Man................

C.Ronaldo is a clown with pretty face,and Rooney is a real fighter and leader.He's a real man!He's not a simulator!That's why i think he's better than Ronaldo.

Cristiano is my favorite player and not just because he is a pretty boy. He really has proved himself so far this season, even with all the fans against him. He has incredible speed and skills, and I think he has potential of being one of the greatest players ever!
Rooney is also a great player. Just remember Cristiano and Rooney play different positions so they both have different strengths and weaknesses. I have to say Rooney is defiantly tougher though, but C. Ronaldo has stopped diving and is staying on his feet more.
Really, both players are brilliant in there own ways.

I can say this in 2 different ways in the eyes of an england fan or the eyes of a neutral fan
England Fan: rooney has played better from scoring goals and passing definitely improved
Neutral fan: rooney is good done well but ronaldo is playing so good BUT he dives so badly it is horrible the one he did aginst middlesborough that just puts me right off him

Ronaldo is a very arrogant young man...he has some skills but he has a greater idea on himself...he loves to insult other players and what he done to Rooney in last WC was discusting (im not a brit, but we all have eyes). he doesnt knows how to loose, how to respect and how to use his skills to get better...
as about Rooney...he was a big talent...now he has to work more in order to become the striker all world awaited him to become..

Just bad for football all around. Materazzi needed to show more class and Zidane needed to show more restraint. The incident cheapened the Final and was a stain on the sport.

they both are a great players but C.Ronaldo is just great and really interesting to watch> i thank he is just missing heading.
