If you had to give up one, would it be books or TV?

i would give up tv!
as long as i had music, i could live on books

it would have to be give up books,
what did we ever do before 24 hour tv???.
now if they stopped 24 hours tv and went back to the 4 channels and switched off at midnite,id guess id have to read a book.
otherwise tv all the way

TV in a second. I have TONS of books, I get to decide on what I read. TV well someone else get to decide whats on.

I didn't have a TV growing up and I'm so grateful to my parents for that!! I have one now and there is so much crap on, its unbelievable! So yeah,I'd give up TV. Books are brilliant,definately increase your imagination!

I guess books. If you have TV you can learn new stuff, watch movies, listen to music.... just to mention few. But books, nahh... you can maybe learn new things, but you can't watch movie or no music comes out of the books :)

difficult to answer as both need at their times.... however answer should very also as per the age..... i would give up books as from tv i can also collect new n other imp issues from tv

TV, it would be hard at first but i find it harder to imagine never reading a book again.

i was going to say tv, but my sister pointed out that a good book is impossible to put down. also i sound cleverer if i say books.

Difficult one, they both have their place in life but if I HAD to choose, i would probably give up tv.
