His father is dead, so, I never met him. The relationship with my ex was really bad. I didn't steal the pictures by the way. I just happen to have them because they got mixed with my stuff. I'm getting married in January to a wonderful man. I need to get rid of those photos but I don't know what to do with them. I know an address where I can return them but at the same time I want nothing to do with my ex. What should I do?

You should return the photos. On the envelope, repeat his address as the return address so he definitely gets them. Don't leave a note or anything - just package, stamp, and mail it off. Congrats on your upcoming wedding and marriage.

Return them...even if you parted on bad terms that is the right thing to do...and you would in the end regret destroying them..you don't have to put a note or a address just send the pic's back end of story

As bad as your relationship may have been, photographs of your ex's deceased father are irreplaceable. If you have decided that you MUST get rid of the photos, the right thing to do would be give them back. A non-confrontational way to do this would be through the mail.

Just return them to your ex, after all, his father is dead now, and it would be so unapprioated of you just acting like a child tearing up pictures that belong to someone else, and move on with your new life with your new wonderful man you are going to married.

Absolutely return them. They are irreplacable. Only a shitty, mean spirited person would destroy them (no matter how bad your relationship is with the ex, or what kind of person he is). Think about it ... if you were him, and he had pictures of your dead father, what would you appreciate?

They're not yours so you have no claim to them or to what to do with them other than returning them safely to their rightful owner. It doesn't matter what you want because it isn't about you.
Edit: Since it's obvious that you don't want to return them, then you'll probably pick an answer that tells you not to return them with what you can use as an excuse to not return them. Why don't you just do the right thing instead of trying to get out of it?

the right thing to do is to return them all,in order for you to move on without having anything around the house of your ex's,and he would be pretty crushed if you destroyed them, wouldnt you be?

Return them. Send in an envelope with no return address and no other messages. Just put the pictures in and ship them off.

Just post them to the address without writting your returning address on the envelope.

Mail them to him. He may have done you wrong, but he cannot replace them. I really hope that by returning them to him you put a little more joy in this world.
Best of luck on your life with your new man.
