this guy and I r all close and stuff, we're super good friends, and all my friends think that somthin more than just being friends is goin on his mind, but I can't tell. like, he asks lotsa Q's about my fam, and wants to meet them, calls me for no reason, somhow always ends up being my dance partner, etc. but I think that we r just friends, and that's what friends do, ya know? is that how u would do it if u like a girl, or what would u do to drop hints?

i think my answer will help you in a better way,
there are two things by which you can measure the diffrence between Friendship & Love
Touch & Eye (way of looking at you)
feel his touch if it is as ordianry as you are touched by all your friends than he is simply your friend and he wants no more relationship with you but a friendship. but if you feel greater 'Vibration' in his touch than definitely he is ready for being something more than a friend to you.
& the another thing is Eye, the way he is looking at you. have some emotional stuff and deeply look at his each eye move & see his eyes is just responding ordinarily or he has some extraordinary feelings for you by this way you will eazily find he want you to be just friend or better love.

the best relationships are those that are built on a solid foundation of friendship.
Don't do the hint thing, guys just don't get it........ask him on a date, go to the movies....spend time with him. STOP HINTING and start acting on it.

Is he straight? If so, and he's calling you and wants to meet your family, you can assume he'd like to be more than friends unless there's something you're not telling us, like he has a girlfriend already, is your cousin, etc, etc...

he wants you bad. and it seems you two are good together. seems like hes too afraid to ask you out. so if you like him. ask him and he will be happy for years to come.
A good friend will come bail you out of jail, but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying, "That was awesome….."
Life was so much easier when boys and girls had cooties.
