The majority don't seem to agree, but those who do, I would like to know where they are from. I am trying to decide if it is a cultural thing in some places, a fad, say in sobe, or maybe each individual women's preference

Body hair is not an attractive thing. I can tolerate it if there's not too much. If someone has a hairy back or chest, that's too much for me. I don't mind leg hair but let's face it, snuggling up to a guy's sweaty armpit hairs is not very appealing. I wish that my boyfriend would go back to shaving his armpits, like he did before we got together. Even he agrees that armpit hair is nasty. However it does become a pain in the butt when the hair starts to grow back, especially if you shaved against the grain. Given the choice of a bald body with shaving bumps and ingrown hairs or a body with a normal amount of hair, I would choose the body with hair.

And umm it's not homosexual. My boyfriend is extremely straight although not a homophobe. What people are saying here in regards to your question is stupid. It's like saying if you're female and don't wear makeup, you're a lesbian. That's so ignorant.

I like the idea of guys shaving legs and underarms, if he has too much hair. I dislike body hair. But what I really think is not going to help you make a general conclusion. This is because all those things you listed are equally true.

Sometimes people who are really dedicated to racing sports (such as swimming, running , or biking) shave their arms and legs so that thier bodies are more aerodynamic and give them a competitive edge over their opponents.

I don't think there is anything wrong with our human anatomy with hair or without. I do think people (women & men) have personal preference when it comes to body hair on either sex.
However, some sports warrant removal of body hair to enhance their competition.

I personally find it homosexual unless it is for a specific reason, swimming, weight-lifting competitions, etc.
