It means "I love Peckham" in Swedish. I noticed it a couple of weeks ago and cant get over it. Why Swedish? Who put it there? I just have to know!

No idea, maybe ask your local paper. Strange thing to put up but it shoes the immigrants and other ethnic people are enjoying their surroundings.

Nuff r'z indeed! Yep Nadia, this one has tickled me for sometime now, in fact these signs seem to be published along Rye Lane in every conceivable language known to humankind! Why?? Nice innit :)

I gotta pop into Southwark council tomorrow anyway, let me ask em. If I get an answer I will edit this post accordingly.

Are u Swedish by the way? did you find it welcoming? Question solved perhaps? Yaaay! :)

Big up Peckham hehehe!

Southwark Council. Other boroughs do similar things for example 'Wilkommen Greenwich'.

Only thing different here in Peckham is the sign saying 'Bienvenue Peckham. Voulez vous une toke de la reefer, monsieur'. (Welcome to Peckham, want any weed?)

Who put that there? Very >Del Boy< :) mange tout....
