It should work. Usually you can get tickets ahead of time at a theater (but not more than about 12 hours ahead of time.)
I would advise getting there a minute or two early, so you have time to find a seat, though.

yeah. i mean you're 17 and you could get in so you could probably be their "guaridan" technically. Although you might have to be 18 to be considered their guardian (like that makes a big difference lol) It also kind of depends how old or young your friends look. I think they can id you if you look under 25. but I dount they'll give you much s*it about it. I would suggest getting the tickets ahead of time like you said. they don't want to lose money they've already made.

isnt it where as long as an adult or person older then (i thought i was 18 though) a certain age can buy tickets for anyone. I see r-rated all the time with my friends and their parents buy use the tickets and we go in and see it. It just matters who buys the ticket.

most of the time if a 17 year old comes up to a ticket window to buy a handful of rated R tickets, they won't let you. you'll come off suspicious. (which they have every right to do)

for your 16 year old friends, you will probably need their parents to buy them tickets and then leave you guys to go in.

im sorry to say i don't think they will let you in but if they do then you could buy tickets for all of them saying they were all 17 then yer just all go in together and they should be fine

you could give that a try, normally that 17 and under is for children who clearly arent even close to age 17,say prehaps 10,i just really dont think it will matter either way
