I will need this for my project of retrofitting an old vanity for a bathroom. Thank you all for the input about retrofitting my old desk (which is actually an old 1930's vanity. I will definitely buy a real sink at a home improvement center and drop it in a hole cut by a template. You all had awesome ideas. Thanks for taking the time to answer my question.

There is no flush up sinks ... what is you install a sump hole on the ground or a container, small holding tank below the level of the sink drain elbow , and then have a sump pump that sends the water up to the drain pipe that is at a higher level , the sump pump is activated with a float switch . There are flush up toilets , they basically have a macerator pump that will force the fluid up to the drain sewer pipe , good luck.

They have little under sink pumps for this use. If you buy one from HomeDepot or Lowes get one that is pre assebled. They have cheaper ones that you have to put the inside together your self that is not what you want it will almost definitly leak. If you go to a plumbing supply for the pump it sounds silly but ask if the have the Drainosaur I have put probably 20 of thse things in with out a problem.

Sanivite is the product if you are in the UK - similar to the flush-up used for toilets but designed for washing machines, sinks, showers etc.
