i love spiders, I have studied them for just over two years now. I find spiders to be one of the absolutely most interesting of all creatures on the planet, they are a real masterpiece of evolutionary adaptation and a true natural success story.
If I could be a spider.....thats a great question, there are actually several i would love to be
My favorite spider is Wadotes hybridus, I cant find a picture of it though becasue it is not very well known, however I guess if I could be any spider, I would be one of many Nephila. These are large orb weavers common to cental and southern North America and all the way through South America, here is a picture of one:

I try to have a balanced outlook on spiders, despite having watched one too many horror flicks related to them. On one hand, spiders are essential to our planet's ecology because they are the natural predators of various other insects that spread disease, famine and other nastiness. On the other, they're scary... That's why I wouldn't want to be a spider, actually. Besides, since I'm a male, I'd be eaten by my mate after procreation, and I find that thought a trifle disturbing.

Spiders are cool! If I had to be a spider, I think I would like to be a Wolf spider or a Brown Recluse.

They are absolutely delicious ROASTED on open fire charcoal - and I ain't kidding either, had some in Australia; very crunchy, awesome stuff. A great aphrodisiac too - just ask those babes down under, they call me the three-legged super spiderman. LOL :-)

I'd like to see the eradication and extinction of a plethora or cournacopea of human illnesses and arachnids that decimate large civilazations and procreate in not only the physical but also metaphysical realms containing species of planet earth and its surrounding stratuspheres containing molecular dust. protestant liberalism. myxomatosis. a pig. in a cage. on anti biotics.
