USE CREDIT UNIONS PEOPLE!!
My account costs me nothing each month, I just keep $5 in my savings. And I do everything online and have just s much if not more than a bank offers.

I will never, ever keep my accounts at a bank.

I just found out, they have been charging my son, who is in medical school a service fee on his checking of $6. mo. What a DISGRACE! Don't you people know that a lot of kids in college and graduate school are not allowed to take a job, and would therefore not have a direct deposit. Chase is ruining their business with the future generation. They want a $5000 balance or a direct deposit, to not charge a fee. I will be starting off the new year by moving my direct deposits plus all my money in checking and savings to another banking institution. In my family it is all for one and one for all. Quite writing checks at Chase because I requested a copy of one, and they never ever found it. Cost me $100., as I couldn't prove it was cashed. I believe the credit unions don't charge.
