I was reading on a couple websites that it's legal in some U.S. states for someone under 21 to drink at their private residence or if under 18 in the company of their parents or legal age family members. It is also legal in certain other events. Does anyone know if these exceptions apply to Pennsylvania?

I did do a search and like I said I found out that in some states they are legally allowed to drink in their homes. I was asking if anyone knows if that's the law in PA.

I'm 23 so I am legally old enough but my husband is 19.

There is NO law in any state that allows anyone to drink under the age of 21, anywhere at anytime, even in the privacy of your home.

This is a federal law.

Parents can get into trouble for contributing to the delinquency of a minor if they allow a person under 21 to drink in their home.

There was a case a few years back where the mother went to jail...

Do a search on PA underage drinking laws....

Well It's not legal. However! As long as that person doesn't leave the house or DRIVE! Then there is really no harm or trouble you can get in. But from a law enforcement stand point i would say tell him to wait until he grows up

wheather its legal or not the police probably won't find out if it only happens in your own home.
just make sure there is no fight, loud noises, or anything else that would draw police attention
