Well, I'll be the first to say that we don't want 'girly' games. Don't listen if anyone tells you that.
We want intelligent games. There can still be lots of blood, gore, and explosions, but the important thing is that the plot MUST NOT BE AN AFTERTHOUGHT, as it seems to be in most games these days. Also, I've always liked games that let you customize your playable character. I'd love to choose the character's gender, body type, height, clothing, etc. This doesn't mean I'm going to dress it up in pink, girly clothes, it just means I want the freedom to make my character look how I want it to look, whether that's thuggish, badass, preppy, goth, whatever. It would be a nice change of pace to be able to have a playable female character that TOTALLY KICKS ***.
I also like games where you can do a lot of different things. I don't like racing games because racing is all you get to do. I don't like fighting games like Super Smash Bros. because fighting is all you do. It gets old. Maybe I want to fight and race and collect stuff and solve puzzles and shoot stuff, all in one game.
Keep in mind that, when you're marketing this stuff, don't market it as a girly or feminine console. If I saw an ad for a console like that, it would turn me off immediately. Your average female gamer is, for the most part, a lot like an intelligent male gamer.
As far as the controller goes, one thing I've ALWAYS wanted is a controller that literally hooks to my body. Small attachments for my hands and feet, something to put around my waist and something to put around my neck. I'm not sure if this is even possible, but I'd love to be making the moves myself instead of just pressing buttons.

I hope you are really serious, because It is a very interesting question. I am glad some one asked it! Personally i prefer party games ( Monkey ball, Fusion Frenzy, Astro Pop etc) . Don't, don't DON'T make a girly console! Make customizable Characters, include a mini game of some sort between levels. Woman can and do multitask on a daily basis. Good luck!

As an avid on line gamer, the respond is a reliable "confident." do no longer take my word for it. you may seek for Vent/Skype/chat vids on YouTube to determine how male game enthusiasts work together with woman game enthusiasts. very very nearly consistently you will hear all varieties of woman-oriented profanity popping out. very very nearly consistently, whilst issues bypass incorrect interior the interest, the ladies all of us is blamed first because of parable that ladies human beings "are not stable at video games." the story you presented is somewhat interesting. i might say, "So what?" for one and all male gamer who replaced into bullied into submission with the help of a set of woman game enthusiasts, i might say there's a physically powerful 5000 different circumstances the place a male gamer made a woman gamer cry. Sexism isn't the only subject interior the gaming worldwide. Homophobia and racism are additionally somewhat rampant, and that's a topic that gaming businesses, with the help of and massive, refuse to handle.

Well I've relized that many girls (like myself) like any typical gaming system. But for others, they don't like the console's size. Maybe if the Console was about the same size as a GC, but with a PS2 controller, just not as heavy.

i have no clue to what i like in the physical looks and feels of a game system, because the game is my top priority when gaming, not the controller. but i will say that you wll definitely make a lot of money if you follow through with your plan. many girls will love to have a girly game system and games. good luck!
