My sister did the same thing. She has a son, and while his father was in jail she filed for divorce and is now with another man. You have to move on, and just waiting for him can hurt. Its hard not to wonder if he will just go back to jail. Best of luck to you.

You are right. Don't wait. If he really had your best interests at heart (and his son's) he'd not have done whatever it was to get into jail in the first place. I'd not only move on, I'd move away. Another town or so.
