Maybe I should clarify...I didn't mean that you celebrate the day they died----
But do you celebrate the anniversary dates of their b-day or whatever while they were alive?
I lost my first husband VERY early in our marriage....I still think about him on his b-day, & remember our anniversary, etc. And on the anniversary of his death, I like to think about how much his life meant to me!

I remember my mother's date because it was 9 days before my daughter's birthday

Yes several friends through the years,ones that died suddenly.On the 1st anniversary we have had a remembrance
(not a celebration) party.It just feels good to know they're gone but not forgotten.

Oh, yes. My two fiances who died (lucky men) before we married...I take one a Christmas tree and have drinks for the other one on his birthday. And I remember to the hour when they died.

Not all but the ones that were really close to me I do remember but not celebrate.

I didnt celebrate it, but i know when my grandma died, it was only a year ago.

i just remember the dates, i dont really want to celebrate that my loved ones r dead...
