I tend to sweat rather a lot, and the antiperspirants that I've used (from Secret) haven't been working--I still sweat a lot! I'm not too hot, so I'm not sure what's up with this--after returning from school, my armpits are always wet--what antiperspirants would you recommend?

Thanks all--but actually, antiperspirants don't increase your risk of cancer. That's been debunked.

I'm no doctor, but it sounds like you suffer from "hyperhidrosis", or excessive sweating..There's an antiperspirant you can purchase at Wal-Mart called "Certain-Dri" it's not a prescription..it's about 5 bucks..you use it during the night time, it's very effective, it'll take a few days to notice a difference but it's well worth it..good luck

try Driclor. You get it from a chemist. it burns a bit if you're not careful when following the instructions so be warned. It really does work longterm though

In response to shy_happy.........i think it's Aluminium in deodorants that is possibly the problem. You can buy ones without it. xx

Used to have the similar problem. Switching brands worked at first, but it became reoccuring. (Though Arm & Hammer, Degree, and Sure worked best) Definately go for the UNSCENTED for less chemicals.

I would try using organic deoderants because chemicals in others have been known to have side-effects:

I haven't had a problem since! These are powerful and safer alternatives.

just thought i would let you know what i have heard. i have heard that using deordorants with anti-perpirant causes breast cancer. i hate not using deordorant without it but i do now to lessen that chance.just something to think about.

Try natural, non chemical deoderants
