Firstly I am sorry for your loss...

and secondly my first thought was angels only coz Iam a big fan of robbie but what about...

1. Osborns - Changes
2. Pill Collins - Every breath you take - 'this might be a really good one for what you are looking for'
3. REM - Everybody hurts
4. Elton John - Diana Song - candle in the wind
5. R Kelly - Turn back time

all I got, hope it helps!

Try a different idea. A funeral is a celebration of someone's life not always the mourning of someone's death. Pick you some happy songs that the deceased would have liked.

Not Forgotten by Peter Frampton on his Now album. It is a beautiful tear-jerker song about losing a loved one.

Another great one is Just Once More by Nelson, they wrote it about their father.

What did the deceased like? Maybe you should play their faves. Funerals aint what they used to be in that respect

Why do you want sad?

It should be a celebration of their life............have songs that the person liked.

why sad?

at my funeral they are going to have upbeat R&B songs and everybody will dance on my grave :) thats what i want!

and NOBODY will be lyin' about how "nice" i was, they will only go there to party, i dont want people to be sad i left, i want them to celebrate.
