If Adam and eve did not exist... there would not have been any human beings! The first of the species of human beings the revered Adam and Eve were the first to surface on Mother Earth as human beings. Their direct ancestors being the ape family!

Now Adam and Eve came onto this Earth. They had both to act as a family. Both were son and daughter of God. That made them brother and sister. How come they could have fathered children?

In the initial stages of development of human life... nothing existed which we could have called as society or community. It was a raw savage world. As per the theory of Charles Darwin, "it was the time for survival of the fittest". It was the time to do and die.

Words like ethics and morality did not exist for even words did not exist during those times. The Lipi (written form of communication) was developed at a much later stage in time.

Even a brother and sister relationship did not exist at that time. There were only two human beings who had surfaced on Mother Earth. They had to copulate and produce children. They did not do it intentionally. They never knew anything about it.

It was that it happened. They did it and something was born. At that moment of time they would have been extremely surprised not knowing what to do about it. Eventually they would have realized it was one of them.

They reared that child and with passage of time another child was born. This time it was a female child. As this small family progressed further... this male and female child copulated at the appropriate time. And the whole family started to grow.

Now there were two families. With passage of time many more families came into existence. Until this point of time there was nothing like morality and ethics that played any role. For the sake of their survival and progeny these families kept on multiplying.

This was the only way to keep intruders at bay. They had to protect themselves from the wild beings roaming Mother Earth.

Ever since the Revelations of God came into existence... the human being who had invoked these words of God realized that the system had to be ordered at some stage. And some system of morality and ethics came into being.

As of today... the copulation by the children of Adam and Eve was a sin but at that time it was not a sin for the relationship of brother and sister never existed in those times.

The development of relationships in human life came at a very later the stage. It was only possible when the community would have developed into a massive strength. Population somewhere in thousands would have prompted the wise and the elders of those times to separate out into distinct families.

We need to understand that whatever is truth today may not hold tomorrow. In a scientific developing world the values whether they are ethical, moral or otherwise keep changing.

The story of Adam and Eve is just that; a story. If you read a little further is Genesis, their sons marry girls from nearby. First, the story of Adam and Eve is meant to explain that people displeased God in some way and that is the reason that humans have the challenges that we have. Second, it is sinful for siblings to have sexual intercourse. That is evident in the physical abnormalities that can occur to an infant born from an incestuous relationship.

The Bible says that Adam & Eve (actually Adam specifically) lived for over 900 years, and had Cain, Abel, Shem, and other sons and daughters.
All these early peoples life spans were measured in hundreds of years, mostly between 800 - 950 years long.
If they had 1 child every two years per couple, with in 5 generations the population would be over 500 million people.
It was unnecessary and not in God's will for Adam & Eve to sleep with their off spring.
"A man shall leave his father and mother, and become joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh" (Genesis 2:24)
For them to have had sex with their children was outside God's plan. However due to the then genetic purity of the human race, it was still acceptable, and obviously necessary, for brother to sleep with sister.

The Bible is symbolic ... not literal. A lack of mates among human ancestors that lived million years ago has left modern humans more vulnerable to genetic disease, a new study suggests. Siblings should not breed because their genes are too close and can cause monsters. Other close breeding is not good, but a limited amount will not produce bad results. Breeding father to daughter increases the risk some, but not nearly as much as brother to sister..as they don't both have the same parents.

Actually in the beginning their children married each other and populated the earth. Adam and Eve had many children together.
It wasn't until later on that God said not to have sexual relations between brothers and sisters. Adam and Eve never procreated with their own children.

The bible did not say. It did say "And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
And God blessed them: and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth." Genesis 1 vs 27-28. But there must have been inter family sexual relations for them to obey God's command. But that does not mean that is ok today, that is a different dispensation in time. Similar: the New Covenant of Christ Superseding that of the Old Covenant of Moses.

The Bible doesn't say. You can invent anything you want, so long as it doesn't go against that which is in the Bible. It is this type of "license" that John Milton used when creating his depictions of Heaven/Hell and embellishing the story of Genesis as he did in "Paradise Lost."

What is this doing in "Government?" To begin with, they weren't - there probably never were two such people. But, let's assume for the sake of argument there were. Where did the other people come from if they didn't do it with Eve? So, basically that would mean our gene pool is corrupted and is the product of incest. Suddenly, that explains a lot about why we are the way we are.
