~Stay very still. Better still, I find that six martinis before a trip, and another 2 every 30 minutes en route solve the problem nicely. But can you tell me how to stop bed spins?

Bonine - can be purchased over the counter at the drug store. Take one the day before your trip and another about an hour before your departure. Had a rough trip out to the Great Barrier Reef and while everyone around me was feeding the fishes I was just digging the spray. It doesn't cause drowsiness like Dramamine can.

Sip flat gingerale and nibble a salty cracker. Also there is an acupressure point on the wrist that, when pressure is applied, can really help. On you left wrist, locate the spot between the tendons about 2 inches up your arm from your wrist. Apply pressure as long as needed to alleviate sick feeling. I used this method on a rather wild cab ride in St. Thomas and it worked like a charm.

Stop moving. Ha, ha, just kidding. My brother had that problem. when we moved to another province my brother had to fly because he would get really sick if rode long distance in a car.
If he did have to ride in a car with us my mother would give him gravol prior to the trip. It works. Good luck.

Take ginger tablets or eat ginger cookies before & during the flight. They work every time for me. :)
