My wife and I bought a DVD with many old Popeye cartoons for my daughter. She had just turned four. She loves the cartoons, and now wants to eat her spinach all the time so that she will be strong. There is a show on Nick Jr. I believe it is called lazy town. The hero in the show will only eat healthy food. That show has the same effect on her. She always asks if food that we give her is healthy.

I miss all the innocent cartoons and such of my youth before the PC brigade jumped on the gravy train to make money out of us poor suckers who have to foot the bill for their rantings.

My children had the ' doll's ' popeye and olive oil when they were young , and when i go searching for thing's up in the attic i come across them , it certainly take''s you back in time , to-day's programme's for children are so sofisticated.
