It depends for me. If it is thick I like it in a bowl, but if it is more liquid I like it in a cup. How about you?

My prefs: Big chunks o'stuff goes in a bowl, creamy or broth in a cup, it's just easier that way.

Prefer a bowl. Even a cup sized soup in a bowl. Well, French Onion soup in a cup.

Cup. But a big one! If it's in a bowl I still like to pick it up and drink the broth, it's too hard with brothy soups to use a spoon for every little drop.

It depends on how good the soup is. Bowls are definitely easier, though.

bowl for most soops unless it is ultra thin then a cup and just sip it from there
