We have a variation called "Freshmen Friday". Every first Friday of the school year, some subsequent Fridays, and during the pep rally seniors throw eggs and water balloons at unsuspecting freshmen. I think it's pointless and I won't engage in it when I'm a senior. But the seniors have gotten smarter. This year they had eggs come out of the ceiling and rain down on freshmen. We've never had seniors beat up freshmen because that's just illegal and our lockers are too small for people to be stuffed into. I think seniors should lay off the freshmen because they could end up being their bosses someday. Either that or freshmen rebels should lead a resistance.

a version of that. freshman got crap all the time, and on senior skip day the juniors were particularly vicious and started doing mean stuff to the freshman and setting off stink bombs in their hallway. on class colour day, it's a tradition to bring a sharpie and color anyone wearing a green "Frosh" shirt. Bonus points if you get the face.

No, we told the freshman about how you could only get to the pool from the elevator... and that it was on the fourth floor... but there was no pool.. and no fourth floor; the freshmen ended up in trouble for going in the elevator because it was only for the handicap.

No they didn't have that at my school and I am a freshman. You could be caught dead if they started doing that at my school.

Well my freshman and sophomore year they "did." But the funny thing is, nothing really happened. So in way, we really didn't which is kinda bogus.
