Oooh... cool. If only all people were as open about interracial couples. My sister and brother-in-law are of different races, too. Chinese + Sri Lankan! I've always been raised in a very liberal, think-what-you-will type of setting, so I accept almost everything.
By the way, I think you'll have a shot at getting a couple scholarships because of your mixed race. There are actually scholarships for Italian Americans and other minorities... that's a lot of financial aid you can rack up with your background! lol

We're all mixed race. Genetic data shows that a vanishingly small percentage of us are actually anything resembling a pure race.
In terms of genetics, isolated populations have lower chances of survival. In other words, we require genetic mixing to thrive as a species.

I think lovers can be of any race, religion, etc. Lovers make the relationship and shouldn't let anything hold them back in fulfilling their love for each other ...

I think it's cool. We need to bridge the gap between blacks and whites. There's too many cultural differences. Someday there will be more people of mixed heritage than people of just one race.

I think it is great:they make the most beautiful children.
Where i live it is not even an issue.Guess that bigots are not as loud as in the USA. And we have laws that protect against discrimination of any kind.

who cares? there isn't the " stigma " regarding this situation today as there was years ago. most of us are " mixed bloods " in some way or other. when I was meditating I was informed that if I ever looked badly on a " mixed blood " relationship I would be guilty of looking down on others like my ancestor was who married a Native American.

Why do we have to care about this so much. That is why its a problem because people care about this small stuff so much. Check the box, which color are you. WHO CARES! So long as your parents love each other and take care of you, thats all that matters.

I think it's perfectly fine, in fact I think it takes two especially strong people to endure the criticism that is beat down on them by society.
