load a game.the book says its the tv cable or over heating ,it is non of these, any else experience the same fault.

i had exactly the same problem with mine, took it back to the shop and was told that this is not an uncommon fault. The shops must know about it because they exchanged my xbox without question. My advice is to take it back........

Have you checked the cable to see if it's switched to the right cables (regular vs hd). I had that problem when I first got the 360. Didn't know that I had to switch it from regular TV to HDTV on the cable.

I had the same problem when I first set it up, bit did not have the video cable plugged in all the way in the back of the XBOX.

Umm two thing my have happened. The first thing is that you probably hit the biggest wire which will cuase it to blink. The second and worst thing that could have happened is that you have the red eye virus. But just send it back to microsoft and it will be fixed in no time
