These countries basically don't exist. They do not contribute anything to the world. They are worthless.

Columbian oil, Peruvian coffee, Argentine Beef oil and lumber, CHilian autos, Mexican factories. Sorry they can't meet your wants and needs. What have you contributed lately? Don't know much about economics or geography do you?

pls get your head from the sand, and get real. what do u mean by contribution? some war in Iraq where hundreds of civilians are killed in your " American war for oil? or the nuking of Japan in which many people still suffer the consequences of the attomic bombs? are those the US contributions to the well being of the world? Apart from defeating Hitler in the WW 2, The US has done nothing but to cause harm on the entire planet, have u ever wondered why is it the US is the most hated nation all over the world?

you are wrong, Venezuela is responsible for contributing over 40% of the US oil supply that is why Bush takes so much crap from President Hugh Chavez. Brazil is responsible for providing the worlds most beautiful girls. Columbia provides the world with coffee and 80% of the worlds cocaine.

These countries contribute a lot to this world, especially when it comes to exports. Just because these countries have had their fare share of political turmoil and drug trafficking doesn't mean that they add nothing to the world.

Because they have very little in the way of a military. That, and many South American countries are pro-us. Its the same reason why we don't hear about good news in the national news.

Your life and mine certainly aren't the same. I own products from South America and use them every day. And Chavez is a(expletive deleted) but they are a major oil exporter.
