how many of you remember ma and pa kettle and the original little rascals?if you do what about the shows you like?

Ma & Pa Kettle were hilarious. I loved it when there were chickens in the house. I can't imagine what attracted them to each other. He was so easy-going - maybe she proposed to him. lol lol
And the Little Rascals were really cute. My favorites were Alfalfa and Darla. ....especially when he would sing I'm In The Mood For Love to her. Oh, and Buckwheat. He was cute too.

I remember and the Little Rascals. I just like the inter action, trouble they got into, just plain funny. I don't remember Ma And Pa Kettle that well.

If Marjorie Main was still alive she would probably be upset to be mistaken for a drag queen. Marjorie Main (24 February 1890 - 10 April 1975) was an Oscar-nominated American character actress, perhaps best known for her role as Ma Kettle in a series of ten Ma and Pa Kettle movies

I used to like the interaction between the characters in the Little Rascals and the way they always turned such ordinary events into adventures for themselves and those around them.

Ma and Pa Kettle were classic clean comedy. Did Pa ever get the better of that loose floor board on the porch that would ALWAYS smack him in the butt? *LOL*

Yes, I remember, although they are bit before my time, but I saw them on TV as a youth. The characters were VERY broadly drawn, and seem pretty silly by today's standards.

But I thought they were funny at the time! Just silly, often very physical humor, rather like the Three Stooges.
