Hello Hi Hi for you period there is no certain age for you to start your period it depends on how slow or fast your body works on the inside. but if you are 17 or 18 then see a doctor because you might have turner syndrome

Average age is between 12 to 14. I had no problems but my sister had terrible cramps every month. Midol does help to some extent.

I have horrible cramps and other problems, but I will say that it's not as bad as people make it out to be, just inconvenient.

Why are you screaming? Is it that frightening? Talk to your mom or female adult you trust about it.
I'm 41, I had lots of periods until I got on a method of birth control that stopped them.
Young women typically get their period around 11 yrs old or so (I was in 5th grade I think, when I got mine). It's just something we women have to live with...not scary, just annoying (and occasionally embarrasing).
Not to worry...just make sure your mom has the proper products on hand when you start yours, and instructs you on how to use them.

the average age is 12.8 years. i got mine at age 10. anywhere between 8 or 9 and 16 is normal.

Well you should get between the age of 10 and 18. It all really depends on what your body is like. I got mine when i was eleven. I got it the first day of my new school. Make sure to carry somehing always for when you do get it.

I have known girls as early as 9, and as late as 14. It depends on your hormonal growth. I started at 11.
