I think that if you are already a fairly good student, instead of putting more time and effort into your studies, you should put that effort towards extracurriculars. Many colleges would rather have a well rounded student with decent grades than someone with a perfect 4.0 but no extracurriculars. I also recommend this because you are young, and you should be able to enjoy yourself during high school. Grades are important though, so if you do start to slip up in the classroom, I'd recommend to follow the advice submitted above mine.

I would say, do the basics.
1.Pay attention in class. Try not to get distracted from other kids goofing off.
2. Take clean & detailed notes. You can use symbols as long as you are consistant with them and you understand what they mean. Keep a differnt section for notes and homework. This will help keep you papers clean.
3. Review you class work each night. Especially if you know a test in coming up. Don't wait until the night before. Take a little each day. And when its the night before concentrate on the items you are still haveing issues with. NO MUSIC/TV WHEN REVIEWING/STUDYING!!
4. Don't be afraid to ask questions. If you are unclear about something ask. Before, during, or after, ask because chances are, someone else may not have understood it either.
5. Get to bed at a decent hour so you cna be rested for the next day.
6. Start each day with a breakfast.
I know that these may sound cheesy, but I followed theses rules and I hit High Honor Roles almost every 45days.

The first thing that you need is to learn to focus.
For instance.
Can you focus on who I am? Can you see me in your minds eye?
Then the next thing is for you to decide what you want to do in your life. Imagine that you want to be a singer. Well, you don't need any college or university education for that. Or if you want to be a tennis player, well you can chuck away your books.
But if your wish is to be a brain surgeon, then I am afraid you will have to go and pick back up those books, stay away from sites such as this where people sometimes post up crazy ideas and get on with some serious studying.
A lot of it has to with having a positive mental attitude.
You must be able to visualise exactly what you want in your mind and if you are strong enough mentally, you will be surprised that you can achieve your goals.
I hope that although it is difficult to explain everything all at once through this forum, you will conceptualise what I am trying to say to you.
You also appears to be a very sensitive person and I truly hope that you become a success.
You are also free to email me through the forum for further advice. Good luck.

You should be more observant. This is the 'MOVIE' question catagory! So, being clueless will NOT help your chances at all! First, just learn to read and follow very easy simple directions and THEN worry about if you're going to college or not. I mean, if you can't read and ask in the correct catagory then how's your little mind gonna handle anything much more????? good luck though :-) you're certainly gonna need it!

Hi hun,
You should check your spelling, college's always want people that have good grammar. And then of course study as best as you can. Try and get into some honors courses because that will help.
