I can always get my eyes to well up, but I can rarely get a tear to roll down my cheek.

It is not a matter of finding the emotion, but of remembering the emotion.

Emotions are often tagged onto memories of specific events or actions. You must remember one of these thoughts that has a strong link to the emotion you want to express.

This is not a matter of acting, but expressing a true emotion, brought back with the memory. It will always work. The only question you need to ask yourself is when did you feel like crying and actually cried? Remember that time. Remember the feeling. Express it honestly.

Hey before I try to answer I gave you the best answer for my question about I was looking for a girl named Emmanuelle and you gave me Emmanuelle Chriqui. Thanks for the answer I mean she is so hot but still have not found the cover pic that I was looking for. Ok to get your eyes all washed down with the wetness that many men try to give women... you must reflect back to a time in your life when you were completely different in some way and think about what could have been if you had gone down a different road instead of having a certain problem that you can't handle at the time. You know, I wish I hadn't been with so and so, he really used me and changed my outcome in life something like that. You know you could have already been with someone special that would answer your most beautifull thoughts and do it before you even opened your mouth. I know everyone would love to have somebody to know them from the inside out instaed of from the outside in, even though it's kinda hard to believe. But it is true if you believe it to be, just close your eyes and imagine that your soulmate is right behind you waiting for you to finish what you are doing so he can get your undivided attention and take you deep into his arms and let you play inside his soul as you do the same for him.Just try it, and you will see.

Think as the character would. Take the character's situation and make it your own. How would you react under your character's circumstances? Make the situation that you are portraying as real to YOU as possible. If you think of it as something that is really happening to you, and react as you would if it were real-life situation, then you will likely portray it realistically to your audience. Just do what you would do naturally if the situation was really happening to you. Acting is about harnessing natural reactions and feelings, and reproducing them at will. Sometimes thinking of a past event that has occurred to you works- however-in my personal experience, making the character's circumstances YOUR reality works the best. Also, put a lot of study into your character.
That's just my opinion..... Hope this helps!

I don't know where you find it, but if it makes you feel any better, once you have, you'll always have it. I can cry on cue in any situation... I don't know how. My advice is to continue searching your emotions as you are the only one that can tap into them.

I used to act in a high school drama class. I thought of some of my own tragedies like my losing my first pony or something like that to cry.

Try thinking of something really sad in your life, if nothing then something really sad in someone else's life or in the world. You can also think about how you would feel if someone you loved died.....Hope this helps

i heard that you are supposed to think of the saddest thing that ever happened to you. others say that when you act and your so caught up with what your character would do in that situation that it comes to you naturally. i sometimes think of sad endings in movies......i did that once and it worked for me....i was watchin edward scissorhands....

Think of someone who was closed to you who has died, think of trying to do something that you just didn't get, just think of some trials and tribulations that you have encountered in your life.
